So you want to lose 30 pounds, but don’t know how to get started? Don’t worry about it. The answer below could be just what you need.
To begin, I’m going to tell you about an article that recently grabbed my attention. Some actor was asked how he got into shape for his new role. “I ate less and exercised more – it’s not rocket science,” was the actor’s response.
With an answer like that, it makes you feel that weight loss isn’t that hard, doesn’t it? Is all that scientific mumbo-jumbo about metabolism, calories, oxygen, and so on really important to know? Regardless of the different types of diets, reduced calories consumption reigns as the top choice.
Fist things first. Don’t drink any liquids that aren’t called milk or water. Pretty much all other liquids with either increase your calorie intake or put yucky chemicals into your body.
Next, make sure that you’re eating small meals about five times a day. This helps regulate your body’s fat burning furnace. If you can, start off each meal with some fruits or vegetables to help fill up your stomach.
So what kind of meals should you be eating? That’s largely up to you. Read on for some more help. And remember, when trying to lose weight, eat less than you normally would.
Completely stay away from anything that has trans fats (partially hydrogenated oil) or high fructose corn syrup. That stuff will make you gain weight and probably blow up your heart. If you can manage it, don’t eat fried foods, and don’t eat at restaurants. Finally, always eat protein in every meal, and always eat breakfast.
At last, now you get to find out about exercising. The biggest obstacle people face when starting an exercise program is not knowing what to do. Well guess what, it doesn’t matter, because as long as you’re doing something you’re getting the benefits. The important thing it that you’re doing something physical that gets your heart beating and body sweating. Don’t forget to talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise program, just to be sure you’re up to it.
