    Good job Darin. You are very knowledgable, and your body is living proof your system works. I’ve been following the BFL and EFL programs since late december 2009. I have lost 45 lbs of scale weight, and 6 inches of my waist. My strength gains have been good too. Lately, I feel I’ve hit a plateau, as my scale weight has been constant for over a month. I plan on following your advice on carb cycling for cardio days, and see how that works out for me.

    So what if I just want to get a nice tone. Im 6’1 160 pounds, Im not really fat im just out of shape. would I still have to apply myself to eating small meals every 3 to 4 hours like you said?

    @lovesz71

    A protein shake with water is 100 times more effective for you, bars are only to be used in emergancy situations (stuck at the office, stuck in the car ect)

  10. fatlosslifestyle Says:

    @GuitarMasterman THIS IS NOT A MYTH. YOU MUST EAT SMALL MEALS OFTEN IF YOU WANT TO STOKE YOUR METABOLISM AND GAIN MUSCLE WHILE LOSING FAT.

    DARIN

  11. GuitarMasterman Says:

    One of the biggest myths in bodybuilding still around, you have to eat small meals often hahahha…

  12. lovesz71 Says:

    @thewisejanitor and @MdNtNightmare a breif understanding of the world around you ain’t nerdish or moronic it’s common fucking sence

  14. SmartAceHole82 Says:

    @oemking The point i was trying to make was out of the millions of years people have been on the planet only in the last 40years humans have desired such extensive muscle mass that’s why our bodies aren’t naturaly adapted to absorbing and holding so much protein it’s got nothing to do with poor evolution

  15. Yuan5594 Says:

    Ok i hear u john cena Paaaaaahhhhhhh!

  16. MdNtNightmare Says:

    @SmartAceHole82 what a moron lmao.

  17. thewisejanitor Says:

    @SmartAceHole82 ur a fuckin nerd wow…

  18. oemking Says:

    @SmartAceHole82
    The point being, muscles don’t suddenly waste away if you don’t eat protein every 3 hours. Adequate daily protein is important, of course. The stimulus that makes the body adapt is the exercise itself, not the diet.
    My strength gains actually improved when I STOPPED the protein shakes. I realised they were a completely unnecessary waste of money.

  19. SmartAceHole82 Says:

    @oemking Evolution did a great job designing human’s as we were never intended to be as buff as darin we are sposes to be chasing down small game animals and foriging not squating 600pounds.

  20. XghostriderrX Says:

    it’s costing to be a body builder. I tried and I spent almost 4oo dollors a month, crazy!
    If you are going to compete then do it but for the look? ahhhh I suggest saving that money for retirement.

  21. TeacherPhilEnglish Says:

    @AbdullaDXB 30 days. Squeeze the abs hard at the top. Also add weights when you do your crunches (full crunches with feet locked in). You must lower the fat to under 9% body fat to see the abs.

  22. roenstein Says:

    I like your videos and think your philosophy is correct, but why do have to wear your shorts so high up???

  23. AbdullaDXB Says:
